How to find us

By car

From the north-east and the south-east:

  • N165 to Quimper.
  • Then Quimper Nord Locronan, Plonévez-Porzay (towards Crozon) (D63).
  • When leaving the village, turn left at the roundabout (D61)
  • Then follow the road to the chapel. 
  • Turn left and follow the road to the beach.

By train

Quimper SNCF station :

  • TER lines (Vannes, Lorient, Rennes, Nantes, Brest),
  • Intercity lines and TGV (Paris-Montparnasse 3 hours 20 minutes) 17 km away

By plane

Brest Airport : French destinations 66 km

  • Drive towards: Quimper (N 165 – E60).
  • Exit at Chateaulin. Drive through the town, towards Douarnenez.
  • Turn towards Cast - Douarnenez (D 7). 
  • After Cast, turn right towards Plonévez-Porzay (D 107).
  • In Plonévez-Porzay, turn right at the traffic lights.
  • When leaving the village, turn left at the roundabout (D61) then follow the road to the chapel.
  • Turn left and drive towards the beach.

Quimper-Bretagne Airport : with connection to Paris. 24 km

  • Drive towards: Douarnenez (D 56).
  • Take the D 56 through Guengat until Plogonnec.
  • Turn left (towards Locronan) onto the D 39 then the D 63. 
  • In Plonévez-Porzay, keep going straight at the traffic lights.
  • When leaving the village, turn left at the roundabout (D61) then follow the road to the chapel.
  • Turn left and drive towards the beach.

Festivals and traditions

- Cornouaille Festival in Quimper in July: traditional Brittany festival with singing, dancing, costumes and other entertainment.

- Les Vieilles Charrues Festival in Carhaix-Plouguer in July: one of the largest musical festivals in France.

- Bout du Monde Festival, on the Crozon Peninsula, the first weekend of August: three days of world music concerts: relaxation guaranteed!

- Le Grand Pardon de Sainte Anne: every year, the last Sunday of August in Sainte-Anne-la-Palud. An ancient event dating back over 1500 years, an important part of Brittany culture: religious festivities and processions in traditional costumes.
